The House of ICON
ICON by MRK is a furniture house devoted to the making of finely detailed bespoke pieces for distinguished interiors. Our work draws on the enduring language of cabinet making, decorative arts and architectural proportion, interpreted with contemporary clarity and restraint.
Each commission begins with material, scale and intention. From the first drawing to the final polish, every decision is made in service of balance, refinement and lasting beauty.
THE ICON PHILOSOPHY
Material
Rare veneers, distinguished timbers and hand-finished surfaces selected for depth, texture and permanence.
Craft
Each piece is made with patience, precision and a disciplined attention to proportion, joinery and finish.
Permanence
Materials & Finishes
Our approach to finish is deliberate and exacting: polished where it should be polished, quiet where it should remain quiet, always with an eye to longevity and grace.
The Minds and Hands Behind the Work
ICON by MRK is led by designers and makers who share a single standard: furniture should be made properly.

Mujib Rahim Khan
Mujib Rahim Khan is the creative mind behind ICON by MRK.
Architect by training and furniture maker by instinct, his work is shaped by a lifelong pursuit of proportion, material beauty, and exacting finish. His eye has been informed by design traditions across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, yet his approach remains singular, disciplined, and unmistakably his own.
For MRK, furniture is not simply made. It is composed.
Each piece reflects an obsession with detail, a respect for craft, and a belief that true beauty is achieved through restraint. The result is work that feels collected rather than purchased, and made to endure beyond its time.
